When we talk about sacrifices within our family,
We always talk about sacrifices that our Mother made for their children.
It is somewhat true that Our Mom makes a lot of sacrifices but that does not left our Dad out.
Our Dad does make sacrifices but only we did not realise it.
I once was travelling to school by taking MRT, I saw a dad with his son(his son about 10 year old). His Son has some kind of disease where he can’t just stand normally and can’t stand still.
So his son kept moving around and made weird noises.
Well We as typical Singaporeans looked and definitely some of them talked about them.
The guy which is the dad of the son definitely knew people were watching them,
Well Heck He didn’t care, He pretend Nobody is staring at them.
Instead of asking his son to keep quiet or to stand still, he followed what his son done. (like walking around like his son does) to entertain his son.
I know it is Embarrassing plus it’s in the public but Heck he didn’t care at all.
What amazed me, sometimes if his son makes some loud noises, he will just hug his son and said
“Don’t worry daddy is here”.
I just look at them with astonishment till i reach woodlands. (like how Dad reaction would be when his son do something weird).
Truthfully i must said that Son is lucky to have a great Dad like him.
That incident really inspired me to write this post about Dad. That maybe just an incident but we definitely know that there are other great dad around the world that make sacrifices for their children.
Every Dad has their Story and In the future I know I want to be that type of Daddy.
